SUPERLATIVE QUALITY: LOVE IS PERMANENT

LADIES   AND   GENTLEMEN:

OUR   DAILY   MEDITATION   SCRIPTURE:    1   CORINTHIANS   13:13.

(13)    AND   NOW   ABIDETH   FAITH,   HOPE,   CHARITY,   THESE   THREE;   BUT   THE   GREATEST    OF    THESE     IS    CHARITY.

AS     CHRISTIANS     WE     SHOULD     ALL     PRACTICE   LOVE   AS    THE     ROOT    OF     OUR     FAITH    IN    CHRIST     DEMONSTRATING     IT    IN    EVERY     ASPECT      OF      OUR      LIVES     DAILY!   HALLELUJAH!  AMEN.          IN   THIS   VERSE   PAUL   WAS  LETTING  THE   CORINTHIAN    CHRISTIANS   AND   US    KNOW   WE    ALL   SHOULD    EMPHASIZE    LOVE    MORE    THAN   THE    GIFTS    BECAUSE    GIFTS    ARE    TEMPORAL    “CONTAINERS”    OF   GOD’s    WORK;     LOVE     IS     THE    WORK     ITSELF.        FOR    PAUL ,    THE    THREE    GREAT     PURSUITS    OF   THE   CHRISTIAN     LIFE     ARE    NOT     MIRACLES,    POWER,    AND   GIFTS.       MUCH    OF    PAUL’s     MINISTRY    HAD   BEEN    SPENT    TEACHING     ABOUT    THE     IMPORTANCE     OF      FAITH     AND     HOPE.      NOW,      HE    PLACES      LOVE      RIGHT    ALONGSIDE    THEM,    AND   IN   FACT,   (ELEVATES     LOVE    ABOVE     THE     OTHER   TWO).     THE    REASON    PAUL   PUT    THIS   CHAPTER   IN   THE   MIDST    OF    HIS    DISCUSSION    OF   SPIRITUAL     GIFTS.     HE    WANTED    THE    CORINTHIAN     CHRISTIANS    ( AND    US )   TO   REMEMBER    THAT     GIFTEDNESS    IS   NOT     THE    MEASURE     OF     MATURITY;     THE      DISPLAY      OF     LOVE     IS!   HALLELUJAH!    PRAISE    GOD.    HAVE    A    BLESSED    DAY!     THANK    YOU    FOR   YOUR    SUPPORT    AND    VISITING    MISSIONARY    CYNTHIA    BENNETT.   ALWAYS    REMEMBER:      JOHN   3:16      GOD    LOVES    YOU    &     SO   DO    I.        GOD     BLESS     YOU!
